We are currently looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our team and help us move our mission forward. The Sourcing Manager assumes a critical role in CHAMPS GPO's contracting team, overseeing the negotiation, initiation, and composition of vendor agreements and contracts. This position actively supports all contracting and sourcing initiatives, diligently seeking contract opportunities to deliver value for members through thorough research, assessment of contract terms, pricing analyses, negotiations, and effective management of supplier relationships.What You'll Do:
Contract Portfolio Oversight:
Take charge of managing the WellLink assigned contract portfolio, including negotiating new agreements, contract launches, renewals, and related documentation.RFx and Bid Process Management:
Spearhead the development, analysis, negotiation, and management of RFxs (Requests for Proposals), bid processes, and the contract pipeline in accordance with the contract calendar.Identification of Contract Categories:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify contracting gaps, generate innovative ideas, and award new contract categories to fulfill organizational requirements.Stakeholder Communication:
Effectively communicate with all pertinent stakeholders, both internally and externally, regarding contract implementation, terms, offerings, and modifications.Contract Record Maintenance:
Ensure the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date contract records, guaranteeing that all documents supporting assigned contracts are organized and readily accessible.Market Research and Due Diligence:
Conduct comprehensive market research and perform due diligence on price lists and price changes relative to contract terms, the competitive GPO contract environment, and the general marketplace for products and services.Contract Management Process Enhancement:
Assist in the development and implementation of contract management processes and procedures aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency. Your work will help us build stronger communities and bring our purpose to life.What You'll Bring:
Proficient negotiation skills with the ability to analyze contract terms, evaluate pricing, and effectively manage supplier relationships. Advanced proficiency in contract management software, procurement tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Meticulous attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills, allowing for efficient management of multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Thorough understanding of procurement best practices, industry regulations, and the GPO contracting environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required. 2-3 years of experience in contracting or supply chain.
