As our Sourcing Manager, CAPEX, you'll play a key role in enabling major capital investment projects across North America-partnering closely with engineering, project management, and site leaders to ensure smart, compliant, and value-driven sourcing decisions. You'll join the CAPEX Sourcing Team within Engineering & Facilities Services (EFS), supporting enzyme production and manufacturing sites across the Americas. The team works collaboratively across regions and functions, combining strong procurement expertise with a shared commitment to Novonesis' purpose and Responsible Purchasing standards. The Role & Your Impact In this strategic and hands-on role, you will lead sourcing activities for CAPEX projects across multiple North American sites, balancing cost, quality, risk, and sustainability while supporting successful project execution.
Your key responsibilities include:
Developing and executing CAPEX sourcing strategies and procurement plans aligned with project and business objectives Leading supplier selection, including RFI/RFQ processes, tendering, bid evaluations, and award recommendations Negotiating pricing, terms, Incoterms, payment terms, and contracts, ensuring proper documentation and compliance Partnering with Project Managers to support change orders, claims handling, and supplier issue resolution Managing supplier agreements and performance to ensure delivery, quality, and value over the project lifecycle This role has a regional scope, supporting manufacturing and enzyme production sites across North America. What You'll Need to Be Successful Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally within CAPEX or project-based sourcing Solid knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management Experience working with procurement systems (SAP required; ScanMarket preferred) Strong financial, analytical, and negotiation skills with demonstrated business acumen Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures Additional Skills & Interests We Value Experience developing capital sourcing strategies and managing complex supplier negotiations Familiarity with source-to-pay tools and e-procurement platforms Ability to manage high complexity, prioritize effectively, and drive results in a matrix organization A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and value creation

West Allis, WI or Franklinton, NC (Hybrid)
Travel:
