Anchor Sign designs, manufactures, delivers, and installs interior and exterior signage for leading national companies and brands throughout the United States. Our customers include Bank of America, The Home Depot, Amazon, Chick-fil-A, Domino's, Olive Garden, Parker's, RaceTrac, and many others. The Purchasing Manager leads the sourcing and procurement of aluminum and steel, plastics, electrical and LED components, vinyl and digital print media, coatings, hardware, operating supplies, and other materials. This position also oversees freight and logistics. This key leadership role is responsible for supplier performance, pricing and terms, purchase order execution, and maintaining material availability while effectively balancing cost, quality, inventory levels, and lead times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead day-to-day purchasing and sourcing for: Raw materials: aluminum, steel, plastics, coatings, and related materials Electrical components: LED products, power supplies, wiring, and related components Graphics materials: vinyl, digital print media, and related materials Hardware Equipment Operating supplies Campus and facility services: plumbing, electrical, equipment repair, security, and other services Manage supplier/vendor relationships; obtain competitive quotes and negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, freight costs, and service levels. Manage freight carrier relationships, including carrier sourcing, rate negotiations and scheduling. Create, approve, and track purchase orders; maintain accurate vendor, pricing, lead-time, and purchasing data within the ERP system. Monitor open orders, shortages, backorders, and supplier constraints. Expedite orders or develop alternate sources before production or project schedules are affected. Collaborate with Manufacturing/Production, Project Management, Estimating, Design, and Accounting to support company and project objectives. Support inventory planning and management.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or a related environment. Experience managing freight and logistics. Experience using ERP/MRP or purchasing systems, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills. Strong organizational, communication, decision-making, and follow-through skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred but not required. Equivalent relevant professional experience will be considered.
