You will play a pivotal role in aligning sourcing strategies with operational goals to ensure cost-efficiency, supply chain resilience, and long-term business growth. Responsibilities Develop and execute global commodity strategies to drive cost-reduction and mitigate supply chain risks. Negotiate high-value, complex contracts while fostering innovative partnerships with key suppliers. Analyze total spend, market trends, and cost structures to inform data-driven sourcing decisions. Lead cross-functional teams through the supplier qualification and onboarding process to ensure seamless integration. Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance supplier productivity and process efficiency. Monitor supplier performance against quality and delivery standards, proactively addressing non-conformance issues. Collaborate with engineering and operations to support new product development and ensure supply continuity. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business. 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced data analysis tools. Strong financial acumen with proven experience in contract negotiation and cost management. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Skills Advanced degree (MS/MBA) or professional certifications (CPSM, APICS). Experience within the medical device or highly regulated manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with AI-driven procurement technologies and advanced spend management platforms. Deep technical knowledge of direct material categories such as machining, forging, and casting.
