  •  Haslet About the Role We are seeking a strategic analytically rigorous, Manager, Strategic Sourcing to help drive our category strategy and Source-to-Pay (S2P) transformation.
This individual will run sourcing events, centralize fragmented global spending, harmonize the supplier base across multiple ERPs, and translate data and market intelligence into executive-ready sourcing strategies across IT/SaaS, Facilities, MRO and Travel. This is a contract role with an anticipated contract duration of 12 months. You'll Make a Difference By Category Strategy and Sourcing Developing category plans and a sourcing pipeline, using market research and benchmarking to prioritize high-value events. Leading sourcing events and negotiations to reduce total cost of ownership and optimize legacy supplier terms. Executing commercial agreements (including tactical spend under $50K) in compliance with organizational standards. Financial Analysis & Data Analyzing fragmented spend data (AP, P-Card) using Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to map spend to the enterprise taxonomy and identify leakage. Tracking negotiated vs. realized savings against targets and building business cases and ROI/TCO analyses to support decisions. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
Performance Management:
Establishing and leading Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), scorecards, and KPI/SLA frameworks to manage supplier performance, risk, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Partnerships:
Cultivating partnerships with key suppliers that unlock innovation, capacity, and joint value beyond unit price.
Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Management Driving Negotiations:
Leading vendor negotiations to maximize total value, secure predictable long-term costs, and leverage competitive alternatives to optimize legacy vendor terms.
Supplier Consolidation:
Negotiating enterprise-level agreements to consolidate fragmented spend and users while strictly adhering to dataprotection and security requirements.
Commercial Execution:
Managing and executing high-volume commercial agreements (including tactical spend under $50K) in compliance with organizational standards.
Executive Communication & Indirect Leadership Executive Communications:
Preparing and delivering executive-level presentations that clearly communicate category strategies, savings performance, risks, and supplier performance to senior leadership.
Indirect Leadership:
Leading cross-functional sourcing teams and mentoring junior category/sourcing staff without direct reporting authority; serve as a category thought leader across the business.
Stakeholder Enablement:
Influencing and aligning stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance, Marketing, Facilities) and enforcing procurement policy firmly but diplomatically (e.g., "No PO, No Pay"). Assisting with other responsibilities based on business needs About You 5-7 years of indirect sourcing and category management across areas such as IT/SaaS, Marketing, Professional Services, Contingent Labor, Logistics, Facilities, and MRO.
Strong data skills:
advanced Excel plus BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to turn messy data into taxonomy maps and dashboards. Working knowledge of TCO, savings tracking (negotiated vs. realized), and business-case development. Contract experience with enterprise SaaS agreements. Hands-on with S2P platforms (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, Zip) and VMS systems (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline). Strong communicator able to influence IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders and enforce procurement policy. About Ariat Ariat is an innovative, outdoor global brand with roots in equestrian performance.   • $55.
00 per hour. The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations.
