Only US Citizens/Green Card Holders Job Summary The Procurement Manager will own sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, negotiations, and cost reduction for materials supporting manufacturing, fulfillment, and retail operations. Responsibilities Negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms, and lead times with suppliers. Source and qualify manufacturers in China, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and other Asian markets. Manage the full RFQ process, including supplier selection, samples, production approval, freight, customs, and delivery. Build competitive quotes and qualified second-source suppliers for key categories. Develop new supplier relationships and continuously identify better sourcing options. Track and reduce total landed cost , including unit price, tooling, freight, duties, tariffs, MOQs, lead time, and carrying costs. Manage POs from issuance through delivery and monitor reorder triggers, days-of-cover, and long-lead materials. Support purchasing of machinery and raw materials as the function grows. Maintain accurate purchasing and cost records using spreadsheets. Act quickly on urgent sourcing needs and hold suppliers accountable for cost, quality, and delivery. Required Qualifications 4+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience. Hands-on international sourcing experience , particularly with manufacturers in China, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand, or Malaysia. Proven success negotiating price, MOQs, terms, lead times, or quality, with measurable before-and-after results. Experience finding, qualifying, and onboarding new manufacturers/suppliers. Experience managing overseas samples, production, and delivery. Working knowledge of FOB, EXW, DDP, freight forwarding, customs, and tariffs. Strong understanding of landed-cost analysis. Strong spreadsheet and cost-modeling skills. Organized, self-directed, decisive, and comfortable working without fully established processes. Must be willing to work on-site in Ogden, UT. Preferred Qualifications Experience in consumer products, packaging, or print procurement. Experience purchasing labels, folding cartons, corrugated materials, retail displays/CDUs, master cartons, tubes, pouches, or headers. Experience with national retail display programs. Machinery or raw-material purchasing experience. 3PL experience. Ideal Candidate A hands-on procurement builder and strong negotiator who can create supplier options, reduce costs, manage international sourcing, and take ownership of procurement from supplier selection through delivery.
