ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially focused Product Planning & Sourcing Manager with experience in the automotive aftermarket industry to support the management and optimization of our USA product portfolio. Working closely with Brand Managers and cross-functional teams, you will help drive product lifecycle activities, maintain high-quality product data, analyze market and product performance, and support the successful execution of product strategies. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills with a passion for product management and enjoys turning data and market insights into business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Product Range Management Partner with Brand Managers to support the execution of product strategies across the USA product range. Coordinate product lifecycle activities including new product introductions, product rationalization, line extensions, and discontinuations. Monitor product performance, sales trends, profitability, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and provide recommendations to Brand Managers. Support assortment planning, pricing reviews, and category initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and market competitiveness. Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within the USA market. Maintain product range documentation and ensure product information is aligned with approved brand strategies. Product Data Management Own the integrity, accuracy, and governance of the product data set across all relevant systems and platforms. Establish and maintain product data standards, processes, and controls to ensure high-quality product information. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect, validate, and update product specifications, attributes, pricing, compliance information, and marketing content. Ensure product data effectively supports eCommerce, marketing, sales, supply chain, and customer-facing channels. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product data quality, accessibility, and operational efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Technology teams to support product strategy execution. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related information, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Support the successful launch of new products by coordinating activities across departments and ensuring timely product readiness. Collaborate with global product teams to ensure alignment between regional and organizational product strategies. Commercial & Performance Analysis Analyze product performance metrics, sales data, customer feedback, and market intelligence to inform decision-making. Develop regular reporting and dashboards to track product portfolio health and product data quality metrics. Identify risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives that support business growth and customer satisfaction. Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership regarding product investments, portfolio changes, and market opportunities. Compliance & Governance Ensure product information complies with applicable regulatory, quality, and company requirements. Maintain accurate product documentation and records throughout the product lifecycle. Support audit and compliance activities related to product data and product portfolio management. Continuous Improvement Champion best practices in product management and product information management. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, data integrity, and business outcomes. Stay informed of industry trends, market developments, and technology advancements relevant to product management and data governance. Qualifications Experience in product management, category management, product information management, or a similar commercial role. Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, including product launches, portfolio optimization, and discontinuations. Experience managing product data with a focus on accuracy, governance, and process improvement. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, market, and performance data to support decision-making. Commercial acumen with experience in pricing, assortment planning, and category performance analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP, PIM, BI, or eCommerce systems. Strong project management, organization, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering accurate and actionable product information.
