Everton Homes is a premier builder of luxury modern homes in Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, custom-built homes that meet the unique needs of our homebuyers. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Purchasing manager is responsible for creating construction project specs and managing the procurement of construction materials necessary. This role requires strong construction knowledge, negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and on time project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, architects and interior designers to create and refine complete project spec for a custom home. Research, source and purchase construction materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers. Coordinate with project managers to align material deliveries with project schedules. Review and manage purchase orders, invoices, and ensure accurate documentation. Provide regular reports on cost-saving initiatives, keep track of subcontractor performance.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in homebuilding and construction is required. Experience in purchasing and procurement within the homebuilding industry is required. Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of construction materials and supplies.
