Working on site at the facility is required.
Your primary responsibilities will be:
Develop and execute sourcing strategies across assigned spend categories company-wide, prioritizing based on spend value, risk, and savings opportunity. Lead negotiations with suppliers on pricing, terms, contracts, and service levels to reduce total cost of ownership. Identify, qualify, and onboard new suppliers; manage a diversified and resilient supplier base to reduce single-source risk. Partner with Engineering, Operations, and business-unit stakeholders to understand requirements and influence specifications or designs where cost or supply advantages exist. Manage supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and issue escalation/resolution. Track and report savings, cost avoidance, and category performance metrics to leadership on a regular cadence. Monitor market and supply conditions relevant to AvtechTyee's spend categories and proactively flag risks or opportunities. Support new product introduction, capital projects, or service procurement as sourcing needs arise across the business. Ensure sourcing activity complies with company policy, and with contractual, quality, and (where applicable) regulatory requirements. Build and maintain supplier contracts, ensuring terms protect AvtechTyee's commercial and operational interests. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of sourcing/procurement experience, ideally spanning multiple spend categories rather than a single commodity. Demonstrated track record of negotiating cost savings and favorable contract terms with suppliers. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build spend and savings models and communicate them to leadership. Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills this role works with stakeholders across the business without direct authority over them. Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems and spend-analysis tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience sourcing across a mix of direct materials, indirect spend, and services. Experience in electronics, hardware, manufacturing, or technical-products environment. CPSM, CPIM, or similar supply chain / procurement certification. Experience introducing or improving sourcing processes, tools, or category management practices.Key Competencies Business acumen:

- The wage/salary range for this role is $130k - $175k, depending on education and experience.
