The Arc of Jackson County is seeking a dependable Employment Specialist to supervise and support a small work group in a community-based manufacturing environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

Supervising program participants and organizing daily work assignments Ensuring production is completed accurately Performing quality-control checks on completed products Recording materials and products on bills of lading Tracking and submitting work group's work hours Assisting program participants with various support needs Helping program participants safely board and exit transportation Maintaining required documentation and following all safety procedures Follow all HIPAA Guidelines Applicants must be dependable, organized, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to provide respectful, hands-on support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. A valid Alabama driver's license, and the ability to meet all background and training requirements are required.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, day shift

Pay:

From $15.50 per hour
