ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be a certified teacher at Edison School of Innovation Emotional Maturity Engaging Community Communication & Influence Submits grant data and attendance into the School Information System (SIS) Ensures pertinent site records, files and other required administrative procedures are completed and maintained for all students in the classroom.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR 21ST CCLC SCHOOL STAFF
Coordinates and implements educational curricula and programming for an afterschool program club or component. Uses approved parent communication, student portfolio and curriculum tools/software. Adheres to grant requirements as pertains to the classroom. Develops positive relationships with children and parents. Preserves quality condition of all supplies, equipment, materials, and cleanliness of site. This is not an exhaustive list of job duties. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS TO BE A PROGRAM INSTRUCTOR 21ST CCLC SCHOOL STAFF
: 18 years of age or older Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree in child development, early education, education or comparable field of study. Must possess or obtain prior to working in ratio an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card and negative TB test Possess mature judgment and sound decision-making Ability to communicate effectively with children, peers, and supervisor. Ability to effectively communicate information on YMCA Child Care Programs. Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly in an emergency. Current state approved first-aid and CPR/AED certification
