Due to recent expansion, we are currently looking for Controlled Cleaning Shift Leads for a brand new account in Alhambra California. ACM will be responsible to oversee and maintain our client's cleanrooms.
Attire:
Personal Protective Equipment, (PPE) will be required to ensure our team members safety and protect the technician from slipping on wet surfaces, cleaning chemical splashes, inhalation, and exposure. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Lead to support the daily execution of the cleaning Scope of Work (SOW) at our client's semiconductor manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside the site supervisor to guide cleaning technicians, ensure adherence to stringent cleanroom protocols, and maintain the highest standards of contamination control on the production floor. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to the cleaning team during daily operations across cleanroom and support environments. Monitor compliance with strict contamination control procedures, proper gowning protocols, and ISO cleanroom standards. Assist the Site Supervisor with on-the-job training for new cleaning technicians regarding specialized tools, chemicals, and ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety. Conduct routine quality checks and spot inspections to ensure all cleaning SOW deliverables are met consistently. Report any facility maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Site Supervisor. Help manage daily shift assignments, attendance tracking, and the proper distribution of cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications & Requirements Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in cleanroom environments, semiconductor manufacturing facilities, or critical high-tech spaces. Prior experience in a lead, senior technician, or peer-mentoring role is strongly preferred. Deep understanding of contamination control practices, specialized cleanroom chemicals, and microfiber/ultrapure cleaning tools. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and excellent communication skills. Ability to follow complex safety and operational guidelines (including OSHA requirements and facility-specific protocols). Flexibility to adapt to changing shift schedules or operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
$20.50-$22.00 per hour
