PathPoint is seeking a full-time Assistant Program Coordinator to help lead our Supported Employment (ISE) program in Bakersfield , CA 93309 . ISE aims to help individuals secure competitive employment with local businesses. PathPoint provides a job coach who offers intensive support initially and gradually transitions support as the employee gains independence, while also serving as a liaison between the employee and employer. As the Assistant Program Coordinator, you will ensure the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of our services. Please include a cover letter and resume when applying. Schedule:
40 hours per week, the position for the schedule varies; the ability and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends is required.
Starting Pay:
$24.25 per hour. The pay range for this position is $23.04- $25.46 an hour (subject to change based on a variety of factors).

What You'll Do:
Assists the Program Coordinator with administrative duties and mentoring/training of staff; arranges staffing coverage when needed. Documents hours of service and assist with preparing monthly billing. Ensures that all assigned program individuals are present and accounted for during scheduled periods of work or instruction and are performing all tasks in a safe manner; remains conscious of their health and safety at all times. Supervises and supports individuals while they are learning and practicing skills at PathPoint sites, in the community, and at job sites. Acts as a liaison between employer and persons served; collaborates with employers and other community partners to ensure that partner expectations and agreements are met; takes appropriate corrective action when needed. Exhibits a friendly demeanor, establishes rapport with program individuals and acts as a positive role model for work habits, communication skills, etc. Serves as a role model to the community concerning the respectful treatment of individuals with disabilities; maintains confidentiality. Completes special incident reports, event information reports and seizure reports according to set deadlines; develops and implements behavior support plans, as needed. Assesses the skills of persons served; prepares written progress reports; utilizes Person Centered approach and tools. Attends staff meetings and all scheduled in-service trainings.
Safety and Security:
Reads, learns and knows the PathPoint Safety Handbook; Knows and follows the Safe Operations Guide; Promotes a safe and healthy work environment for self, individuals, other employees and community.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred. Must have a valid California driver's license with at least 5 years driving history, a satisfactory driving record, and be eligible for coverage on PathPoint's auto insurance policy.
