The Program Director is responsible for ensuring that the overall operations, programmatic services and development strategies are effectively implemented in a manner that is consistent with the organization's mission, while assuring for the organization's sustainability and future growth. The Program Director is responsible for promoting an organizational culture that fosters passion for the mission, cooperation, open communication and teamwork so as to achieve the organization's goals and sustain its programs.Key Duties:
Lead new Transitional Housing Program, Trauma-informed, Youth-Centered Program Design, Co-ed Facility Oversight +Safety Protocols, Data Management & Reporting, Wraparound Services & Workshop Coordination Anticipated Program Launch Date :
Early Fall 2025 | Position open until filled with the ideal candidate Responsibilities include but shall not be limited to the following: Provide leadership and direction to all staff, and ensure the continued development and management of a professional and efficient organization to include effective decision-making processes that will enable the KBTHP Friendly Manor to achieve its long and short-term goals and objectives Instill in all staff the sense of respect they should show to program clients and to each other Show solid commitment to the professional development of staff; successful track record of recruiting and retaining a diverse team Ensure the provision of high quality services in compliance with funding source requirements Provide oversight with regard to financial management of the organization, including but not limited to facilities management and housing development Prudently manage the budgetary guidelines insuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of all financial accounting and reporting Ensure compliance with administrative and fiscal regulations in accordance with the contract provisions Direct, plan and coordinate the work of the program staff including supervision and evaluation, training and team building Organize and attend weekly departmental meetings to maintain effective communication Ensure adequate and qualified staff to carry out program activities Responsible for the selection, hiring, coaching, and discipline of program employees Responsible for the implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all activities of the program in accordance with State, National and contract standards Remain up-to-date on all modifications to the State and National Standards implementing the same in a timely and organized manner Compile, maintain and report monthly, quarterly and annually on program progress Analyze trends in the program, identifying issues and developing and implementing solutions Implement, manage, supervise and evaluate all activities related to program(s) Develop, implement and evaluate recruitment strategies to expand the number of clients participating in the program Responsible for the expansion of the programs, forming partnerships where appropriate Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field required. Master's Degree preferred A minimum of 7 years of increasingly responsible experience in a complex, human service agency, government entity or faith-based organization, ideally in the field of homeless services/supportive housing; facilities management/real estate/government tax credit expertise a plus Track record of motivating, leading and managing a skilled staff as well as evidence of success in recruiting professionals Have keen analytic, organization and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision making Financial acumen, budget oversight and forecasting skills with the ability to link strategic and operational goals to fiscal realities and program priorities Experience working collaboratively with a committed Board of Directors in executing mission and vision, creating and implementing a strategic plan with measurable outcomes, addressing infrastructure and housing needs and educating the Board concerning the challenges aheadPhysical Requirements:
Meet the physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Sufficient mobility to stoop, reach, climb, kneel, and move about to perform job duties. Use hands and fingers to feel and grasp. Ability to walk intermittently for up to 6 hours, sit intermittently for up to 2 hours per day with intermittent occasional standing, bending, reaching, squatting, or climbing.Certificates and Licenses:
