RE:
10% travel, While most of the travel will be to the 555 Florin Perkins Sacramento location, assignment can be anywhere within the service territory.
TOP THINGS
Candidate must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, SharePoint and Power BI. Ideal candidate will have three years' experience developing presentations and managing program data in various database programs. Experience performing document editing, editing written materials prepared by other writers, document lifecycle management, basic web setup and document publishing.
EQUIPMENT
Client will provide laptop, cellphone and PPE in case needed With prior PG&E Manager approval, may submit expense for reimbursement for work related travel (mileage)
Working Conditions:
Hybrid, some work will be performed in PG&E office setting with some travel for meetings and trainings. Travel required 10% of the time.

Job Summary:
This position supports PG&E's Wildfire Ignition Safety and Execution (WISE) program, which is responsible for driving full compliance of utility standard, EMER-4102S, "Preventing and Mitigating Fires While Performing PG&E Work". The standard defines mitigations that must be applied before starting any PG&E work to prevent fires under various conditions, adapting daily work practices to changing ignition potential. The position will translate complex procedural information based on business requirements and standards into user-friendly references such as Policy and Procedures, user manuals and job aids. Collaborates with and gathers information from internal and external clients to develop documentation that is easy to understand and use. Supports field inquiries regarding policy interpretations. Performs document editing, editing written materials prepared by other writers, document lifecycle management, basic web setup and document publishing. The position will develop presentations and manage program data in various database programs (Excel, Power BI, Salesforce) to produce reports utilized for progress reporting, trend analysis, and program compliance.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage communications Schedule and coordinate events as requested Develop an understanding of PG&E fire prevention standards Develop internal work procedures and initiate process improvements Assist Management with the leadership of key department initiatives such as system development, training and focused campaigns/initiatives Liaison between various departments and cross functional teams Influence decisions, providing recommendations for change that will lead to the success of company goals and cost effectiveness Research and data analysis; compile and prepare reports for upper management Utilize system and personnel resources to successfully address inquiries from internal business partners Support organization as a subject matter expert by providing information and direction to resources through various delivery channels Develop and manage trainings to enhance knowledge and job skills Participate on cross functional teams

Supervisor Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience
Experience:
