The Program Coordinator serves as the on-site lead, working closely with tutors, teachers, and school staff to ensure students receive consistent, targeted math support. This role includes program coordination, tutor support, student progress monitoring, and direct small-group instruction when needed. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Coordination Oversee daily operations of the middle school math tutoring program Coordinate student groups, tutor schedules, and instructional rotations Ensure students receive consistent high-dosage tutoring support Serve as the main communication link between BATA, tutors, and school staff Maintain a positive and organized learning environment Math Instruction & Student Support Support small-group math intervention focused on student skill gaps Assist tutors with implementing math lessons and instructional strategies Support instruction aligned to student needs and grade-level standards Review student progress and assist with instructional adjustments Provide direct tutoring support as needed Tutor Coaching & Training Provide ongoing support and guidance to math tutors Model effective tutoring strategies and student engagement techniques Ensure tutors are prepared with lessons, materials, and instructional expectations Support consistent implementation of BATA's tutoring model Assessment & Progress Monitoring Assist with student assessments and data collection Track attendance, participation, and instructional dosage Monitor student growth and progress toward goals Support reporting requirements and program updates Qualifications Experience working with middle school students required Background in math tutoring, education, intervention, or youth programs preferred Strong understanding of foundational math skills Ability to support and coach a team of tutors Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable collaborating with teachers and school staff Reliable, professional, and committed to student success Preferred Experience Teaching, tutoring, instructional aide, or intervention experience Experience supporting middle school math Experience leading or coordinating educational programs College coursework or degree in Education, Math, Child Development, or a related field preferred Compensation Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
