Days Per Week Weeks Per Year Position Description Primary Purpose and Essential Functions The Bachelor's degree completion programs in Benerd College at the University of the Pacific invite applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track position as an Instructor in the Organizational Leadership, General Studies, and Healthcare Administration and Leadership programs. Offer high-quality, student-centered instruction for an 8-week course in a hybrid format
with in-person meetings on the Stockton campus for three hours at the start and end of each 8-week term.
Provide meaningful asynchronous contact hours delivered online to meet credit hour requirements.
Create and deliver course content and assessment activities that are relevant, applicable, and reflect the current state of knowledge and practice in your discipline.
Ensure syllabus, Canvas website and other aspects of the course are consistent with University policy, ADA standards, and best practices Courses for which instructors may be hired can be found here:

A minimum of two years work experience in your discipline or experience teaching in programs for adult learners Preferred Qualifications Experience promoting and fostering a learning environment that is supportive of individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Experience offering high-quality, student-centered asynchronous online/hybrid courses.
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work. Work Environment/Work Week/Travel:

Work is primarily performed in a standard office, classroom, or online environment. Hiring Range $2,434 per unit if exempt OR $33 per hour, number of hours based on enrollment and number of units, which may be adjusted for low enrollment.
