Job Summary Job Summary Advise and support site-based Special Education teams in best practices regarding the utilization of specialized methods in the delivery of curriculum and instruction to meet the individual needs of all learners, the development of effective and student-centered IEP's, facilitation of the entirety of the Special Education process, and the professional development of Special Education faculty and staff, as it pertains to their assigned specialization View Job Description Requirements / Qualifications 1. Hold an Administrative Services or Certificate of Clearance for Administrative Services and a valid Education Specialist Credential authorizing Special Education in Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe instructional programs as recognized by the state of California OR a Pupil Personnel Services-Psychologist authorization in School Psychology. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with students with disabilities in the public school environment within the last 10 years 3. In-depth understanding of the entire Special Education process including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), California State Special Education Regulations, District Special Education policy and procedure, and Special Education instructional best practice.
Position requires either:
Option 1
  • Pupil Personnel Services
  • School Psychologist Option 2
  • Education Specialist (any area) AND Administrative Services Copy of Transcript (All college transcripts) Credential Copy (A PDF of your credential may be created directly from the CTC website) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) current letters dated within the last year) Resume Pupil Personnel Services Credential
  • School Psychology Education Specialist Instruction Credential
  • Mild/Moderate (or Moderate Severe) Administrative Services Credential Requirements / Qualifications 1.
