Full-Time Job Summary The Supported Living Services (SLS) Program Lead supports the Program Director in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role blends leadership responsibilities with hands on client support, including home visits, staff coordination, and direct care. The Program Lead serves as a key liaison between the Program Director and Personal Attendants, helping maintain consistency, compliance, and client centered service delivery. Key Responsibilities Client Support & Home Visits Conduct regular home visits to assess client environments, ensure safety, and maintain alignment with Individualized Support Plans (ISPs) Monitor client progress and well-being; communicate updates or concerns to the Program Director Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and their families while promoting independence Provide assistance with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks Support community integration and coach clients on life skills such as budgeting, health management, and social engagement Staff Coordination & Supervision Assist with scheduling Personal Attendants to ensure consistent and reliable coverage Train, mentor, and support staff on best practices, ISP implementation, and quality care standards Provide ongoing performance feedback and model effective caregiving techniques Participate in on call rotations, including evenings and weekends, for emergencies or staffing needs Direct Support & Coverage Fill in as a Personal Attendant when needed due to call outs or staffing gaps Provide direct care, transportation, and support during medical or community appointments Utilize non-aversive de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviors Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely progress notes, incident reports, and ISP documentation Ensure compliance with state regulations and organizational policies, including mandated reporting requirements Assist with audit preparation and quality assurance reviews Training & Program Development Facilitate staff training sessions on safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and service standards Identify opportunities for program improvement and communicate client/staff needs to leadership
Required and Experience Education:
Associate's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
REQUIRED TO WORK 2 WEEKEND A MONTH ON-CALL
Preferred Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role Transportation Requirements Valid California driver's license Clean driving record (DMV printout required) Reliable, insured vehicle with current registration
