Job Description

La Luna Center provides integrative, holistic treatment to individuals struggling with disordered eating and body image issues. The PHP Program Coordinator will work directly with a client milieu at our Boulder or Fort Collins location . They will be responsible for both administrative and direct client support duties and are considered an essential member of the clinical management team. Their primary role will be to provide ongoing, comprehensive client supervision and support, maintain program structure, coordinate and support all clinical staff, and contribute to implementing therapeutic programming. The Coordinator will work part of the week in Boulder during a regular work week. Essential duties and responsibilities Participates in and promotes a positive, supportive, cooperative team environment. Attends and participates in staff meetings, training classes, and supervision. Maintains daily program structure (ensuring scheduled activities start and end on time). Ensures effective time management for all staff to efficiently use resources and complete tasks within the given timeline. Contributes clinical information and observation about clients during clinical team meetings. Assists in new client orientation to both program and milieu. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of all program aspects. Assists in managing the PHP Program milieu with a focus on reinforcing the clients' coping and containment skills in dealing with emotions and issues. Is present and available for client requests and needs; provides outreach to clients when necessary. Ensures the daily attendance sheet is completed for billing purposes. Anticipates changes in the program schedule, seeking replacement groups and clinicians. Facilitates client meals by providing direct client support in accordance with each client's treatment plan. Responsible for organizing, ordering and procuring meals from outside vendors. Assists in creating and managing all client schedules. Accompanies clients on breaks and planned outings. Assists in the morning check-in routine to include weights, vital signs, and preparation for a morning snack. Performs light housekeeping duties Shops for supplies and picks up takeout food for mealtime as needed. Maintains knowledge of clients' locations during program hours Accompanies clients during transitions between facilities for appointments and therapeutic activities as needed Demonstrates ability to build rapport with clients. Delivers client assessments and satisfaction surveys. Other duties may include the following: Support of other team members' responsibilities in their absence. Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in partial hospitalization, day treatment, residential or inpatient setting desirable but not necessary. Previous experience with program management and coordination is desirable. Previous experience in an administrative role. Previous experience with direct client contact. Knowledge of HIPAA policies and regulations is preferred. Previous experience with electronic medical records is desirable. Education and Experience Bachelors or Associates degree in related feel (psychology, communication, business administration, public health, etc preferred but not required. Previous experience working within a mental health setting is preferred. Prior experience with food service is preferred but not required. Duration The position is from mid May to the end of August.
