Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and bilingual Program Manager to lead the successful execution of the Fill A Backpack, Precious Gift and giveACCESS programming. This includes program planning, volunteer management, inventory management, working with A Precious Child clients and Agency Partners, and supervision of interns and at times seasonal employees. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, ability to build relationships with donors and volunteers and be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively serve diverse populations. Duties Leadership & Team Support Provide day-to-day leadership and support to staff, interns, and volunteers, fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment. Address team challenges promptly and professionally while maintaining open communication across the Community Engagement and Enrichment Programs Department. Model professionalism, integrity, strong work ethic, and organizational values while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and bringing forward innovative solutions. Program Management & Execution Lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of enrichment programs, ensuring program goals, grant requirements, and quality standards are met. Develop and maintain program procedures and standard practices that support consistent, efficient, and high-quality programming. Serve as the day-of lead for enrichment events, overseeing logistics, setup and teardown, volunteer coordination, troubleshooting, and overall event success. Manage purchasing of program goods, vendor relationships, contracts, and purchasing agreements. Collaborate with fundraising and Program Impact & Partnerships teams to support donor needs and communicate program impact. Volunteer, Warehouse & Inventory Management Plan and oversee program-related volunteer activities, including task planning, training, supervision, and creating meaningful volunteer experiences. Maintain safe, clean, and organized program and warehouse spaces while ensuring staff, interns, and volunteers follow organizational and OSHA safety standards. Coordinate with the Donation Center team regarding shared warehouse space, inventory, and operational needs. Oversee program inventory processes, including valuation guides, inventory counts, and accurate recordkeeping. Agency Partner & giveACCESS Programs Coordinate enrichment program logistics and distributions for Agency Partners, lead program-related partner meetings, and maintain accurate records and data. Lead the processing of individual and group applications for educational and extracurricular assistance through the giveACCESS program, ensuring grant spending and program goals are achieved. Build relationships with activity and equipment providers and lead the planning and execution of sports and arts skills camps, including venues, coaches, equipment, and event logistics. Client & Cross-Department Collaboration Partner with Family Services to coordinate client registration, communication, and logistics for enrichment program events and distributions. Gather and evaluate client feedback to measure program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate across departments to ensure program, client, volunteer, partner, and organizational needs are effectively supported. Provide general support to the Operations team and perform other duties as assigned. Education, Experience & Qualifications Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, families, partners, and community members. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in nonprofit program management and 2 years of experience in volunteer management, customer service, or a related field. Demonstrated experience supervising and engaging staff, interns, and volunteers, with the ability to set goals, execute plans, and drive measurable results. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deadlines. Excellent communication, presentation, listening, interpersonal, and customer service skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners. Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to communicate respectfully and inclusively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Monday.com Genuine passion for A Precious Child's mission and commitment to positively impacting children and families in the community. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and remain physically active for extended periods as required by program and event activities.
Pay:
$59,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
