Job Description
Infosys is seeking an Associate Engagement Manager for its Telecom vertical. The person will lead client interfaces within the assigned account scope and, along with the Engagement Manager and Senior Engagement Manager, build and execute the account plan for client management. The Associate Engagement Manager typically manages a single account or a sub-portfolio within a larger account, with an indicative annual book of business of approximately $10M-$30M. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management & Business Development
- Lead client relationships within the assigned account scope.
- Build and grow a portfolio of business opportunities.
- Lead the opportunity management cycle: Prospect, Evaluate, Propose, and Close.
- Develop and execute account growth plans in partnership with the Client Partner and Senior Client Partner.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the account. Client Delivery Assurance
- Collaborate with delivery stakeholders to ensure fulfillment of all client commitments.
- Work closely with Delivery Managers to address delivery, resource, or operational challenges.
- Drive alignment between client expectations and delivery outcomes.
- Support account governance and client satisfaction initiatives. Account Growth & Governance
- Support account planning, relationship mapping, and opportunity prioritization.
- Drive adoption of Infosys solutions and services within the account.
- Participate in proposal development, presentations, and commercial discussions.
- Contribute to revenue growth and account expansion strategies. Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal sales, consulting, delivery, and practice teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients while representing Infosys' capabilities and value proposition. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience.
- Experience selling IT Services, Digital Transformation, Consulting, or Managed Services to Telecom industry clients.
- Demonstrated track record of managing and growing client relationships.
- Experience in opportunity identification, solution positioning, proposal creation, and deal pursuit.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing complex engagements involving multiple stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience creating and leading proposal presentations.

- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Knowledge of telecom industry business processes and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated experience managing Telecom industry accounts
- Experience with large-scale IT services, consulting, or digital transformation engagements.
- Experience working within a Global Delivery Model.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
- Proven success supporting growth within an existing client relationship.
