Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Sr Manager, Program Management (Systems/Platforms) Senior Program Manager to lead a portion of the PMO responsible for delivering investments across a portfolio of complex initiatives within Woodward's Industrial Business Unit. This role requires a cross‑functional leader who can develop and execute strategies that shape multi‑year roadmaps, deliver measurable ROI, and continuously improve product lifecycle processes. The successful candidate is a trusted people leader, clear communicator, and disciplined operator who brings rigor, insight, and collaboration to large, complex programs while leading teams through meaningful change.
Estimated annual base pay:

Military Leave Key Responsibilities:
Manages a PMO or a sub-set of a PMO. Leads Project/Program Managers and Project Coordinators. Oversees multiple programs within a P&L to ensure we meet projected ROI's and long term financial commitments of the P&L Collaborate with Product Management in creating a valid 3yr+ plan to meet the needs of our customers and business. Develops strong standard work utilizing analytics, team feedback and VoC to find and address risks early and take advantage of opportunities for improved performance of investments within the P&L Assures full and appropriate use of the applicable processes (i.e., Product Life Cycle, Software Development Lifecycle, Parts Transition Process, proper project governance processes are in place, etc)

Risk Management:
Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks across programs. Develops risk strategies to address uncertainties and minimize negative impacts on organizational goals.
Analytical Thinking and Decision-Making:
Uses data, metrics, and KPIs to assess program performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Solves complex problems and balances short-term needs with long-term strategic goals.
Financial and Resource Management:
Manages budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation across multiple programs. Ensures cost efficiency and delivers maximum return on investment (ROI) for the organization.
Program Governance and Oversight:
Establishes governance frameworks to ensure accountability, decision-making, and program performance tracking. Monitors compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Change Management:
Champions organizational change initiatives and ensures smooth transitions during program execution. Addresses resistance to change and fosters adoption of new processes or solutions.
Portfolio and Program Integration:
Manages interdependencies among programs and projects to ensure coordinated delivery of benefits. Balances resources and priorities across multiple programs to optimize performance.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
Experience with operating within long cycle OEM businesses A recognized leader and builder of teams, known for scaling PMOs, developing Program and Project Managers, and creating an environment where people do their best work together across functions. A business‑minded strategist, excited to own outcomes—linking programs to customer value, long‑term product strategy, and measurable ROI within a P&L. A partner to Product Management and senior leadership, shaping and executing multi‑year roadmaps that balance customer needs, technical reality, and investment discipline. A champion of clarity and rigor, using data, standard work, and early risk visibility to improve how decisions are made and how value is delivered—without unnecessary bureaucracy. A trusted change leader and communicator, comfortable influencing at the executive level, aligning diverse stakeholders, and leading organizations through meaningful transformation.
