Job Description

Crisis Aid International Job Title:
Victim Advocate The Victim Advocate Position offers a distinctive opportunity to join a strong organization and become part of an innovative and pioneering program. As a pivotal member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing victim advocacy, mentoring, and survivor support services to adults, children, adolescents, and families affected by human trafficking and internet/electronics-related crimes against children investigations. This position, situated in the greater Colorado Springs / Fountain, CO area but at times requires response outside of that immediate area. This Victim Advocate position functions include but are not limited to: Provide advocacy and professional mentoring services to children, adolescents and families identified in internet / electronics related crimes against children Providing criminal justice and court advocacy and crisis intervention services to adult and adolescent victims of human trafficking and exploitation Collaborative networking with key community stakeholders Provide advocacy, professional mentoring services and support to human trafficking victims in a law enforcement and field environment Appropriate documentation and grant related data collection
Required Qualifications:
BA or BS in social services, criminal justice or related field with 3 to 5 years professional experience or a Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with related populations (survivors of child sexual abuse, victims of sexual exploitation, trafficking, homeless populations, and/or individuals struggling with substance abuse issues, youth with intellectual disabilities or youth at risk for online sexual exploitation) required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with public speaking as well as experience, training or education in trauma informed care strongly preferred. Strong social media skills a plus. Bilingual in English/Spanish not required but also a plus.

Effective communication skills specifically with children, adolescents and individuals in crisis Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to work independently Strong collaboration skills and partnership building in a multi-disciplinary environment including: law enforcement, medical and faith based environments Self-motivated with strong leadership skills Flexibility and ability to work off hours where needed Cultural competence with respect and appreciation for all people

Regional Program Operations Manager Salary:
$60,400.00 to $62,400.00 with generous benefits, vacation and holidays.

$57,800.00 - $59,800.00 per year
