If you're passionate about the outdoors, thrive on challenge, and want to make a real impact in the lives of campers, this is your moment. What You'll Do Spend your summer living in the heart of the Rockies, guiding a cabin group of 8-10 campers while leading unforgettable experiences high above the ground. From the ropes course to the cabin, you'll be a mentor, motivator, and role model every single day. Lead and facilitate high ropes activities with safety and confidence Live with and support a cabin group—building trust, fun, and belonging Create meaningful experiences that foster growth, courage, and connection Teach activity classes and bring energy, creativity, and structure to each session Work as part of a tight-knit team to build a positive, inclusive camp community What You Bring Energy, enthusiasm, and a love for working with youth Confidence in outdoor environments and willingness to learn ropes facilitation Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills A team-first mindset and commitment to camper safety and well-being CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Why Camp Chief Ouray?
