- Power (EWCP) Mission Segment within the Commercial Civil Space Line of Business (LOB) and will be accountable for overall program management and day to day operations of the Exploration program portfolio.
This includes:
Deliver LRP commitments for sales/EBIT/cash allocated to the Exploration Mission Area by the EWCP VP. Successful execution of Exploration Mission Area Programs. Establishing controls and continually monitoring work progress and performance to assure compliance with established program objectives, contractual commitments, and LM program performance management requirements. Understand the customer expectations and drive internal and external suppliers to achieve cost, schedule, technical and quality. Develop effective Action Plans for the recovery of any "non-green" program elements as defined through program controls. Facilitation of and clearing barriers to execution, presenting program business at monthly Mission Segment reviews and supporting the EWCP VP in LOB Reviews. Provide executive interface to the Exploration Program customers (JPL, GSFC, APL, AMES, GRC, etc.), meet with each customer PM regularly, and coordinate Executive Level interface meetings with customer institutional executives and EWCP and CCS Leadership. (e.g.JPL EXCOMM, GSFC QED
). Provide executive interface to SSC functional organizations to coordinate and integrate DSE activities with MFO road maps and ensure staffing and technical support for DSE programs. Coordinate the Executive CPE and Chief Engineer in support of DSE programs. Collaboration with S&BD in the setting and executing strategy for sustainment and growth of the mission area, which involves approving pursuits, cost estimate, and proposals.Responsible for the following:
employee communication (e.g. quarterly all-hands meetings, skip level lunches, staff notes, etc.), site infrastructure coordination (networks, servers, capital planning, facilities-e.g. emergency power for mission operations, logistics & property management), staffing coordination to facilitate program execution in conjunction with MFOs, and employee motivation (e.g. Employee of the Month). This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado, and be expected to work in the office. Additionally, candidate must be willing to travel > 25%. Basic Qualifications To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education 10+ years of engineering and/or program management experience with demonstrated ability to successfully execute a program. Strong, demonstrated leadership, communication skills and the ability to work with personnel from various functional backgrounds. Demonstrated ability as change agent with credibility and positive business reputation across Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin program management and business acumen- knowledge of Lockheed Martin organization, customers, products and services.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$180000.00- $325000.

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.Benefits
