IOP Coordinator Hopewell Health Solutions - 4.6 Glastonbury, CT Job Details Full-time $25 - $28 an hour 6 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Medical scheduling Administrative experience Case management Organizational skills Patient interaction Full Job Description IOP Coordinator (Intensive Outpatient Program) Coordinator Job Summary The IOP Coordinator oversees the daily operations and coordination of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role serves as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, providers, and external agencies to ensure high-quality patient care, efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, or healthcare administration. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily operations of the Intensive Outpatient Program Schedule patient assessments, group programming, and follow-up appointments Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, referral sources, and providers Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system Track patient attendance and treatment progress Monitor program census, admissions, discharges, and waitlists Assist with intake processes and patient orientation Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies Coordinate community outreach and referral relationships when applicable Prepare reports, program metrics, and administrative documentation as needed Qualifications/Education Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferredExperience 1-3 years of experience in behavioral health, substance abuse treatment, healthcare coordination, or case management preferred Experience with EHR systems and insurance verification preferred Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of behavioral health or addiction treatment practices Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
