Education and Training Program Coordinator Florida Literacy Coalition Maitland, FL Job Details Part-time $21.00 - $22.50 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Retirement plan Qualifications Teamwork Project coordination Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Organizational skills Event marketing Full Job Description Education and Training Coordinator Join the Florida Literacy Coalition (FLC), a statewide nonprofit organization working to strengthen adult and family literacy services throughout Florida. FLC is seeking an organized, creative, and collaborative Education and Training Coordinator to help plan and deliver professional development opportunities for adult education and literacy professionals across the state. This is a varied position with responsibilities spanning training, events, communications, and conference coordination. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate in-person and virtual professional development activities, including workshops, webinars, and online courses. Help plan, implement and manage FLC's annual Florida Literacy Conference, including logistics, communications, and coordination with presenters, hotel and vendors. Develop and distribute email communications and promotional materials for trainings, events, and other FLC initiatives. Coordinate with trainers, partners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful programs and events. Support other FLC education and program activities as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience in training, program or event coordination, project management, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree. Experience with event marketing and professional development. Experience in adult education, literacy, or ESL is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common computer applications.
Position:
30 hours per week. One day per week is worked remotely.To Apply:
