Assistant Center Director

About the Role Are you a math expert ready to step into a leadership role? The Tutoring Center Lake Nona is looking for an enthusiastic, multi-talented leader to join our team as an Assistant Center Director. This is a dynamic role designed for someone who can transition seamlessly between high-level SAT/ACT instruction and center operations. You will be the face of the center—welcoming families, managing enrollments, and ensuring every student receives a world-class educational experience.

Key Responsibilities Elite Instruction:

Provide high-quality tutoring for K-12 students in Reading and Writing, as well as specialized prep for the SAT and ACT.

Operational Leadership:

Manage daily center operations, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a professional environment.

Parent Engagement:

Conduct parent meetings to discuss student progress, share assessments, and build lasting relationships with our community.

Director Support:

Act as the "Director-on-duty" when needed, overseeing the floor and ensuring the center's standards are upheld.

Requirements Strong Math Background:

Mastery of high school mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus) is essential.

Test Prep Experience:

Proven experience teaching SAT/ACT strategies.

Communication:

Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal). The "X-Factor": High energy, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for working with children. Bilingual (Plus): Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred and a major asset for our community. In addition, you must meet the following requirements: Bachelor's degree Available Monday - Friday from 3:30 - 7:30 pm (this is a part-time, non-exempt position working approximately 16 hours/week) Ability and willingness to complete the franchise training program Pass a comprehensive background check AND a Math Assessment Test What's in it for you?
