This position is designed as a management-track opportunity, with the goal of advancement to Program Manager within approximately one year for the right candidate who demonstrates strong performance, initiative, leadership ability, and a commitment to our mission. You'll be involved in nearly every aspect of our senior programs—from welcoming and enrolling new clients to solving day-to-day challenges, helping develop new services, participating in community outreach, and supporting the logistics that keep our programs running smoothly. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of their responsibilities, sees what needs to be done, and is excited about growing into a position with greater responsibility. What You'll Do As Program Coordinator, you will work closely with staff, volunteers, clients, families, and community partners to help ensure seniors receive the services and support they need.
Responsibilities include:

Represent the organization at community events, health fairs, senior communities, and speaking engagements. Develop and distribute outreach materials and program information. Build relationships with community organizations and referral partners. Assist with monthly client billing and related administrative functions. Management Track We are intentionally hiring for future leadership. During the first year, the successful candidate will be given increasing responsibility and exposure to multiple areas of program operations. The goal is to prepare this individual to advance into a Program Manager role, assuming demonstrated success in areas such as: Leadership and sound decision-making Client service and problem-solving Staff and volunteer communication Community engagement Program development and implementation Operational oversight Taking initiative and assuming responsibility The ideal candidate will be someone who wants to learn how the entire program works—not simply complete assigned tasks—and who is motivated to grow into a leadership position. A strong candidate will have:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments. Comfort working with computers, databases, email, and basic administrative systems. The ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing. A willingness to work in a hands-on nonprofit environment where everyone pitches in when needed. The flexibility to travel locally and occasionally assist with meal deliveries. A positive, collaborative, and solution-oriented approach. A genuine desire to grow professionally and take on increasing leadership responsibility. Experience That Would Be Especially Valuable While we are interested in experience, we are equally interested in finding the right person with the right attitude, potential, and commitment to our mission. Experience in any of the following is a plus: Nonprofit or social service programs, including case management Senior services Healthcare or community-based organizations Program coordination Community outreach, public speaking and presentations Supervisory or leadership roles Bilingual communication Why Join Our Organization? The work we do is personal. Our programs help seniors who may be homebound, isolated, struggling financially, or no longer able to easily shop and prepare nutritious meals for themselves. Every member of our team helps seniors stay healthier, safer, and more connected to their community. In this position, you won't be limited to one narrow set of responsibilities. You'll have the opportunity to learn, contribute ideas, build new skills, develop programs, meet people throughout the community, and see firsthand the difference your work makes. Most importantly, this position offers a defined opportunity for professional growth into program leadership. If you are compassionate, capable, curious, willing to roll up your sleeves, and looking for an organization where you can grow while doing work that truly matters, we would love to hear from you.
