OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Specialist/Placement Manager (PS/PM) is responsible for the engagement of members, in all operational aspects of Clubhouse Atlanta, according to Clubhouse International model of psych0-social rehabilitation. Together with other members and staff, the PS/PM for the CWU is responsible for 1. Assisting members with meal planning and preparation, kitchen management & organization, and wellness planning & organization 2. Assisting members with social media communications, newsletter development, and database management for unit events. 3. Managing a Transitional Employment (TE) position (see description below)
SUPERVISION
Reports directly to the Program Director.
STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Work side by side with members in a manner consistent with the Clubhouse International model of psychiatric rehabilitation and the mission of Clubhouse Atlanta. Maintains enthusiasm, commitment, and belief in the Clubhouse International Standards. All Clubhouse Atlanta staff share employment, holiday, weekend, evening, and unit responsibilities. Participates in two-week Clubhouse International training and other Clubhouse International events. Actively participates in unit meetings twice daily, weekly House Meetings, and quarterly programming meetings. Works side-by-side with members and staff towards the successful completion of unit goals and tasks within the Work-Ordered-Day structure of Clubhouse Atlanta. Foster an atmosphere of belief in all member's ability to work and return to school. Conduct onsite job training for the TE position and provide coverage for members when necessary. Please visit the website for more information. Assist with resume development, interview skills, job searches and support members in getting and keeping a job. This is a plus, not a requirement. Assist members with application, registration, financial aid, linkage to school support and any other support necessary to succeed (plus, not requirement). Create a culture of wellness by educating, motivating, and celebrating. Together with members, plan weekly menu; shop for items; and prepare daily meals. Performs other related duties as requested by the Clubhouse Administration.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education level: Bachelor's Degree. Commitment to Clubhouse International Standards.
