Job Description

Job Description Choctaw Global, the business arm of the Choctaw Nation, is seeking a Program Manager in our Defense & Aerospace sector within the Program Management & Coordination department. The Program Manager will oversee key construction and related projects, aligning them with strategic objectives, budgets, and timelines. Responsibilities include cross-functional coordination, stakeholder communication, risk management, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate has proven program or project management experience and a commitment to community well-being, reflecting Choctaw Nation values of integrity, collaboration, and sustainable development. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a portfolio of defense and aerospace-related construction and infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout. Develop and maintain integrated master schedules, budgets, and resource plans across multiple projects. Serve as the primary point of contact for defense and aerospace clients, government representatives, and key stakeholders. Ensure all projects comply with contractual requirements, defense industry regulations, security protocols, and quality standards. Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact scope, cost, or schedule. Manage change control processes, including evaluation of scope changes, cost impacts, and schedule adjustments. Prepare and deliver regular status reports, performance metrics, and executive briefings for internal leadership and clients. Coordinate and mentor project managers, technical leads, and cross-functional team members to meet program objectives. Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all construction sites in alignment with company and regulatory standards. Support business development by contributing to proposals, estimates, and strategic planning for new defense and aerospace opportunities. Align program decision-making with Choctaw Nation values, emphasizing community well-being, integrity, and long-term partnership building. Required Skills Program and project lifecycle management Construction project management Defense and federal contracting compliance Budgeting, cost control, and forecasting Integrated master scheduling (e.g., MS Project or Primavera) Risk identification and mitigation planning Contract and change order management Stakeholder and client relationship management Government reporting and documentation Resource planning and team coordination Strong written and verbal communication Data analysis and performance metrics tracking Familiarity with security and clearance-driven environments Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards Proficiency with standard office and project management software
