Job Description
The Stroke Coordinator is responsible for the Stroke Coordinator role, DNV accreditation preparation and ongoing surveillance, maintenance and superuser for web based tools, assigned special projects as needed, and assists department with other functions as needed. Specifically, this position is the subject-matter expert for the stroke certification program and is responsible for all data collection, reporting, education, rounding, and resource for staff. This role is critical to the stroke certification program for the Hospital. The position also requires a lot of data abstraction and analysis to adequately prepare the organization for the DNV accreditation survey. The position will work alongside the Chief Quality Officer and the Director of Quality and Patient Safety. Position participates in committee meetings and leads meetings as required. The position is responsible for monitoring and rounding to ensure compliance within the organization, as prescribed by the department processes.
