The primary purpose of this position is to organize and administer the program, resources, and infrastructure of the Warrior Athletic Readiness and Resilience (WARR) system aboard a Marine Corps installion in support of Marine Corps Total Fitness (MCTF) for Marines, families, and other authorized prons. This position works to improve the readiness, lethality, and resilience of total force in all domains of fitness ¿ physical, mental, spiritual, and social. Plans, coordines, administers, directs, and supervises the WARR programs. Reviews and implements program requirements and establishes goals, objectives, and completes administrive requirements established by higher headquarters. Monitors and evalues program performance outcomes and determines program capabilities, designs modificions and makes programmic adjustments to meet specific local requirements. Performs comprehensive evaluions of assigned programs to analyze needs of the installion and military community. Requests changes and permission to make adaptions, from HQMC, to the installion mission and function of the WARR portfolio. Establishes new methods of operions, prepares long-range, intermedie, and short-range plans for the provision of WARR performance-based community services. The incumbent oversees budgeting and resource allocion to support program priorities and mission goals. Collabores with the Semper Fit Director on major expenditure justificions, develops financial plans, and manages the preparion and distribution of program budgets coordined by subordine supervisory staff. Coordines with stakeholders to ensure the readiness and resilience programs are in alignment with organizional goals.
Makes recommendions for local marketing plans and projects for WARR programs through collaborion with Semper Fit Directors and the installion marketing department. Participe in program outreach and public speaking engagements on the various domains of fitness and the associed installion WARR capabilities and efforts associed with MCTF and its contribution to Marine Corps readiness and resilience.
Supervises employees to include:
assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, completing performance reviews and signing timecards, training employees, keeping abreast of and actively supporting the principles of the EEO program, and prevention of sexual harassment. Must be alert to alcohol abuse, and take approprie action. Additionally, they lead recruitment efforts by identifying staffing needs, screening applicants, conducting interviews, evaluing qualificions, and selecting candides who best meet the role's requirements. EVALUATIONS
Qualificions Bachelor¿s degree in one of the following areas: Health & Human Performance, Exercise and Sport Science / Physiology, Human Factors, physical educion, Physical Therapy, Physical Educion or Athletic Training Sport and Performance Psychology / Behavioral Sports Psychology OR other fields reled to health, wellness, performance, and primary prevention. Masters¿ Degree or higher preferred AND 3 years of experience actively coaching teams AND a minimum of three years of supervisory/ management experience of a health and human performance program designed for military, first responder, high school or professional human performance environments and an approprie combinion of educion and experience th demonstres possession of knowledge and skill equivalent gained in the above. Certificion or license from the Collegie Strength and Conditioning Associion / Master Strength and Conditioning Coach OR the Nional Strength and Conditioning Associion is
required. Advanced certificion such as Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP), Certified Athletic Training (ATC) or equivalent educion and certificions approved by the Nional Commission for Certifying Agencies to include but not limited to Nional Athletic Trainer Associion (NATA) OR the American Physical Therapy Associion (APTA), Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) via American Psychology Associion (

CSPA /ACPS
) is preferred. Skill and ability to manage complex health and human performance programs such as strength and conditioning, performance educion, performance/ sport psychology and science, sports medicine, sports science, and health sciences. Knowledge of health and human performance and the integrion of physical performance and resilience. Ability to conduct multiprogram analysis and manage projects associed with adaption and sustainment of comprehensive health and human performance programs. Skill to establish new or upded methods of program operions and the development of long and short-term plans based on the needs of the customer, budgetary guidelines and policy. Knowledge of human-performance or hletic programs structures, program implemention methodologies, and the establishment and review of standard opering procedures associed with human performance in a military or hletic environment. Knowledge of financial management and the budget process associed with various funding streams such as appropried and non-appropried funds and sponsorship. Skill and ability to communice orally and in writing with executive leaders and to speak in public forums to both small and large groups, as well as one-on-one interaction. Ability to use performance and hlete management systems and leverage the systems to improve the establishment and delivery of comprehensive human performance programs. Knowledge of program evaluions and using program evaluion analytics and outcomes to evalue and improve health and human performance programs. Ability to develop sustainable solutions to complex issues and the ability to implement theory and methodologies reled to health sciences, sports medicine, fitness, etc. Requires a valid driver¿s license.
