Are you passionate about working with people with disabilities and ready to play a key supportive role in a thriving daycare program? We are seeking a dedicated and organized Daycare Program Specialist to help manage the daily success of our program! The Daycare Program Specialist will assist Program Supervisor with day-to-day planning and implementing care plans, activities, and nutritional guidelines. This position will be responsible for the oversight of participants and to provide direction to staff, as well as assisting with compliance of DHS and HCBS regulations. The Daycare Specialist will assist with organization and set up the program environment, preparing needed materials and gathering needed supplies. It is responsible for engaging participants in activities of interest, providing positive reinforcement, and role modeling appropriate behavior. This role might be a good fit if you have proven experience in implementing engaging activities, possess the ability to motivate and guide DSP's in best practices, demonstrate sound judgment in the immediate care and safety of the people we serve, and maintain effective communication skills with both staff and leadership.
