Saturday Sensory Gym Monitor Autistic & Loved Davenport, IA Job Details Part-time From $15 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Non-CDL Class C CNA Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autistic & Loved Sensory Gym Monitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess strong conflict management skills. This role is essential in creating a safe and supportive environment for clients while at the Autistic & Loved Sensory Gym. Duties Supervise daily operations of the gym, ensuring all areas are maintained to high standards. Help monitoring clients and safety while at gym. Provide customer service and hospitality to customers. Coordinate events and activities within the gym, including scheduling, logistics, and promotion. Handle cash transactions accurately with POS Systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations. Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, utilizing strong conflict management skills. Help develop programs that engage children and families, enhancing their overall experience at the gym. Communicate with local organizations to promote events and foster community relationships. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety. Qualifications Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred. Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate challenging situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and staff. Experience in special education is a plus but not required. Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hire. A passion for educating children and fostering a positive learning environment.
