Job Description
Help expand affordable housing opportunities across Iowa. The Iowa Finance Authority, located in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a mission-driven professional to join our team as a HOME Program Coordinator. Through the administration of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs and funds, this position supports funding allocation, compliance, technical assistance, reporting, and systems work that directly serve Iowans and communities.

As the HOME Program Coordinator, you'll help administer HUD-funded housing programs, including HOME, HOME-ARP, and the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF). You'll work closely with grantees, applicants, developers, HUD officials, and internal partners to review applications, support project oversight, research regulations, analyze data, and improve program processes.Key Responsibilities Program Administration:
Collaborate with team to review applications, policies, procedures, user guides, webinars, and technical assistance for applicants and grantees. Maintain accurate project data, assist with system updates, troubleshoot issues, and support process improvements.Monitor Compliance:
Evaluate applications and prepare project documentation for HOME, HOME-ARP, NHTF, and federal cross-cutting requirements. Coordinate withPartners:
Work with project sponsors, owners, developers, HUD officials, consultants, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.Project Tracking:
Support contract preparation, process draw requests, track construction progress, monitor projects, complete closeout activities, and reporting.
