Overview Shift:

Find a fulfilling career and make a difference with UnityPoint Health. Responsibilities Collect, analyze, and maintain trauma registry data with a high level of accuracy. Ensure compliance with state, regional, and national trauma data reporting requirements. Assist with quality improvement initiatives by preparing reports and identifying data trends. Coordinate and support trauma education programs, meetings, and training events. Track certifications, continuing education, and training records for trauma team members. Prepare educational materials, maintain schedules, and provide administrative support for training activities. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, EMS partners, and multidisciplinary teams to support the hospital's Trauma Program.Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma/GED Experience:
Two years of experience in an educational, training, or healthcare environment 6 months - 2 years of data collection experience preferredLicense/Certifications:
Completion of Trauma Registrar Course through American Trauma society within 1 year of hire Abbreviated Injury Scale Trauma Coding Course through Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine within 1 year of hireICD-10 CM
