Full Job Description Overview:
The Lunch Coordinator is a part-time hourly position that reports to the Programs Manager. The Lunch Coordinator is responsible for daily execution of the Ronald McDonald Family Lunch Program and assists with the Ronald McDonald Family Kitchens and Compassion Kit Program.Essential Functions:
1. Serve as lead on daily preparation of lunches for the Ronald McDonald Family Kitchens. 2. Must complete Food Safety Certification (on the job training, if not already certified) 3. Plan menus for daily meals. 4. Purchase groceries for the lunch program and the Ronald McDonald House. 5. Manage and build relationships with volunteers and groups who help prepare the lunches. 6. Prepare Compassion Kits as necessary. 7. Drive the company vehicle and deliver lunches, snacks, and Compassion Kits to local hospital. 8. Log delivery data into Excel for tracking purposes. 9. Send thank you notes to volunteers, both handwritten and digital. 10. Provide House tours as needed. 11. Assist Programs Manager as needed, may include travel outside of Sioux City.Physical Requirements:
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 30 lbs. in all directions
- First Aid Safety knowledge is preferred
- Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to go up and down stairs.
- Able to drive with a valid driver's license.
