In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities and providing support to high school students and young adults in our transition program. The program serves individuals with developmental disabilities and aims to promote independence, socialization, and personal growth. "By helping others reach their potential, you reach yours." Available Position:

Full-time; 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with some Saturdays as needed

Wage:

From $18.75 per hour

Hiring Bonus:

$1,000 (paid in one installment upon completion of 6-months continued employment) As the Day Services Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive environment. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement engaging activities, ensuring that each participant's needs and interests are met. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring a smooth and effective program delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct Services Coordinators address the wants and needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, which include: Promote and encourage community integration and socialization opportunities in a positive manner. Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience working with folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities or related experience Must be at least 19 years of age Completion of High School Diploma or GED Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance Pass all background checks: criminal, DMV, dependent adult and child abuse registry On the job training: in-person and on-line Compassionate and patient demeanor • Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent organizational and time management skills Excellent in-person and electronic communication skills and interpersonal skills Vodec offers opportunities to take on more responsibility, advancement and grow your career.
