As we have continued to grow, specialization of tasks and duties has been highlighted as an opportunity to streamline services for injured workers, insurance adjusters, and physicians. To support our team, we are seeking an individual that has prior experience in a Workers' Comp Coordinator role assisting external stakeholders, Nurse Case Managers, and adjusters. This is a full-time (40-hr) position located at our West Des Moines office with hours 8am-5pm (Monday - Friday). Here's What You Can Expect Scheduling Workers' Compensation referrals from Nurse Case Managers, adjusters and employers. Obtain necessary stakeholder details including claim number, accepted condition, billing address, date of injury, and essential job duties Verification of all appropriate records, images, documentation are requested and received from referring entities or entities previously involved in patient's care Communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of care for patients What We're Looking For Minimum of 1 to 2 years of prior experience working with workers' compensation, medical-legal matters, or civil referral sources (attorneys, insurers, adjusters, TPAs) Strong organizational, multi-tasking and process-driven skills Ability to communicate (verbally and written) in a professional manner with individuals with varying backgrounds, bi-lingual is a plus.
