RESILIENCE AND RISK REDUCTION PROGRAM SPECIALIST
(TITLE 32), GS-0301-9, you will develop, evalue, coordine and deliver comprehensive, target group oriented preventive educion and training and administrive support in administering the Resilience, Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention Program (R3/SPP). Major Duties - This is NOT an all-inclusive list: Develop, implement, coordine and monitor all aspects of the R3/SPP reled to identificion, assessment, intervention and preventive educion. Develop training modules for each target group th includes development of lesson plans, supporting visual aids, etc. Design special courses in response to identified trends and needs of the command, e.g., a high-risk profile in crimes against people work would dicte a course on violence in the workplace or mters of general Soldier resilience. Coordine informion for seminars, conferences and oriention workshop's as approprie in providing instruction and specialized intervention educion (stress management, low risk decision making, etc.) to soldiers, family members and civilians. Serve as the collection/collaborion point of contact (POC) for the submission of crimes against persons and property, injuries/accidents, suicide tempts/completions in a computerized spreadsheet system. Coordine with the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) and Ste ADCO to provide initial response and support to Commanders and personnel during critical incidents, as well as reviews alcohol offenses and drug positives (to include unit positive urinalysis da) to determine comorbid trends. Provide ongoing needs assessments; promotes informed decision-making about prevention, design and delivery. Cree quality spreadsheets, printouts and graphics for use by commanders, assesses da and provide command consultions to commanders all levels recommending intervention stregies. Design and cree effective publicions, such as theR3/SPP Newsletter, R3/SPP Alert bulletins, and other training and media merials with an R3/SPP focus. Provide plans for an efficient resource management program and maximum support of service delivery. Requirements Help Conditions of employment This is an excepted service position th requires membership in the Illinois Nional Guard and in the military grade listed in the announcement. : The areas of considerions for this position, Title 32 Excepted Service (32 U.S. Code § 709), in the following manner and sequence, The FIRST area of considerion for this position all excepted permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within the ILNG. The SECOND area of considerion all current Federal Employees. The THIRD area of considerion all Federal re-employment eligible. The FOURTH area of considerion applicants willing to become T32 Dual Stus Technicians and gain ILNG membership. The FIFTH area of considerion all U.S. Citizens.

E7 GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: MUST possess experience, educion or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organizion, management, and administrion; compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey informion; progressively responsible experience which demonstres the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable?? work of the position to be filled; experience using computer and automion systems.
Time-In-Grade Requirement:
Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing de of this announcement. For a GS-9 position you must have served 52 weeks the GS-7 Level. An SF-50 th shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your applicion merials.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: GS-9 Level MUST possess least 1-year specialized experience, educion or training equivalent to least the next lower grade level of GS-7; experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled; thorough knowledge and understanding of administrive procedures and practices of management; experience developing administrive procedures. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience th transles directly to paid employment.
