Job Description

Program Manager Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Manager to lead community engagement initiatives and foster meaningful partnerships within underserved communities. This role involves overseeing program development, coordinating outreach efforts, and collaborating with community stakeholders to drive positive impact. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in grassroots organizing, and a passion for empowering diverse populations through strategic community involvement. Duties Lead and coordinate community outreach programs aimed at engaging underserved populations effectively. Develop and implement strategies for grassroots community organizing to promote program participation and awareness. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, organizations, and local leaders to support program goals. Facilitate community engagement activities, ensuring inclusive participation from diverse groups. Provide team leadership by guiding staff and volunteers involved in outreach efforts, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Monitor program progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust strategies to maximize community impact. Represent the organization at community events, meetings, and forums to strengthen community ties and promote initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in community engagement and outreach, particularly working with individuals from underserved communities. Strong background in grassroots community organizing and coalition building. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse community partners and stakeholders. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams or volunteers. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of audiences. Passion for social equity, inclusion, and empowering marginalized populations through strategic programs. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. This is a paid position committed to fostering meaningful change through dedicated community involvement and strategic program management.
Pay:
$38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
