Program Coordinator Team Entrepreneurship Growth Reports to Head of Entrepreneurship Growth Status Full-time, exempt Location The Mill, Bloomington, Indiana; on-site role Schedule Occasional evenings and weekends for programs and events Pay Range $57,000-$68,000 About the Role Amplify Bloomington runs the programs that help founders build real companies here: an accelerator for growing businesses, a summer program for student founders, peer accountability cohorts, and a public event series, with more in the works. This role owns the execution behind it all. You're the person who keeps programs on schedule, keeps funders satisfied, keeps events running well, and keeps founders having a good experience from application through the final session or showcase. You'll also meet with founders 1:1, not as a coach but as a guide who helps them work through program logistics, deadlines, and next steps. The Head of Entrepreneurship Growth leads founder coaching, the ongoing founder relationship, and activating Amplify's mentor and expert network; this role supports that work operationally but doesn't own it. This is a builder's role in a growing team. The exact shape of this position will continue to develop as the portfolio grows, and you'll have a real say in how it takes shape. About Amplify Bloomington Amplify Bloomington is an entrepreneurship-centric economic development nonprofit building an innovation economy where ambitious people can thrive without sacrificing connection. Our work spans entrepreneurship growth, placemaking, capital deployment, community activation, and ecosystem coordination. Our home, The Mill, is Bloomington's hub for startups and creative work. This is economic development with a soul: a place where innovation and inclusion go hand in hand, and where people don't just start something, they build something worth staying for. You'll work directly with founders, and there's real room to build rapport and contribute where your strengths align. This isn't a back-office-only job. Time splits are estimates and will shift with the program calendar. 1. Program operations and compliance (about 45% of your time) Run day-to-day logistics for the accelerator, summer founder program, peer accountability cohorts, and whatever joins the portfolio next Keep grant-funded programs on track: application windows, selection panels, funder check-ins, and program reporting Keep peer accountability groups running smoothly through scheduling, communication, and tracking 2. Events and founder experience (about 25%) Turn program plans into finished events, including showcases and founder learning series: speaker confirmations and prep, founder prep, run-of-show details, and the handoff to the events team, who run the venue and production Serve as the program's point person on event days Meet with founders 1:1 on logistics, deadlines, and next steps Collect founder NPS after every program and recommend improvements when scores come in low 3. Partners, data, and systems (about 20%) Keep partner touchpoints, including university and investor-network partners, organized and on schedule Maintain the data that guides where the pillar focuses Maintain and improve the shared databases and tools (e.g., Airtable) that keep programs, partners, and mentors organized 4. Marketing support (about 10%) Work with the marketing lead to get program and event stories out: write stories, build email campaigns and social posts, and take casual event photos What You'll Bring Real experience running the logistics behind a program, event series, or grant-funded initiative. Paid, contract, and substantial volunteer or leadership experience all count. We're not counting years. Comfort working in shared organizational systems (Notion, Asana, Airtable, etc.). Comfort owning deadlines and compliance requirements. Direct communication. You raise problems early instead of letting them become fires. Confidence executing someone else's direction well, while still speaking up when you see a better way.
