Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator to lead and support community-focused initiatives that promote health, wellness, and social engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for community service. You will play a vital role in developing innovative programs, managing volunteers, and ensuring the successful delivery of services that meet community needs. Duties Develop, plan, and implement community programs that address public health issues and promote social well-being. Coordinate with community partners, local organizations, and stakeholders to enhance program outreach and effectiveness. Manage volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and recognition to build a motivated and engaged team. Facilitate community outreach efforts through social media management, marketing campaigns, and grassroots organizing. Collect and analyze data related to program participation and outcomes to inform continuous improvement strategies. Lead public speaking engagements to promote programs, share success stories, and advocate for community needs. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and documentation to ensure smooth program execution while maintaining organizational standards. Provide culturally competent support by working with underserved communities and individuals from diverse backgrounds. Offer guidance on addiction counseling techniques and public health best practices when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to develop youth programs and educational workshops that foster leadership and engagement. Qualifications Proven experience in volunteer management, program development, or community outreach roles. Supervising experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project management tasks. Proficiency in social media management tools, data collection methods, and marketing strategies. Knowledge of addiction counseling, public health principles, and working with culturally diverse communities is highly desirable. Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve multilingual populations effectively. Experience working with underserved communities or grassroots organizing is a plus. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and community partners. Strong writing skills for report creation, promotional materials, and client communication.
