The ABLE (After-school Building Leadership and Enrichment) Program Assistant supports the successful daily operation of UFM's afterschool enrichment program. Working under the direct supervision of the ABLE Program Coordinator, this position assists with program implementation, student supervision, and classroom support to ensure a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for K-5 participants.
Member Duties :
Key Responsibilities Assist with daily program operations and activity setup/cleanup; Support K-State, teen, and community volunteers during classes and enrichment activities; Supervise and engage K-5 students in a safe and welcoming environment; Help manage student transitions between activities, snacks, and pickup; Monitor attendance and assist with check-in/check-out procedures; Support positive behavior management and youth engagement; Assist with preparation and organization of program materials and supplies; Help ensure compliance with safety procedures and risk management protocols; Provide support during outdoor play, group activities, and special events; Communicate effectively with the Program Coordinator regarding student needs or concerns; Uphold fundamental youth development program principles; Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming program space
