NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Environmental Protection Agency through the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program.

Duties:
Provide high level and independent support via data entry and software utilization to the branch. Support includes preparation of correspondence, preparation and submittal of personnel actions, maintenance and tracking of branch data and some clerical work. Assists in formatting and routing of project correspondence (to EPA format standards) primarily in electronic format. Analyzes data while developing, creating, tracking and merging electronic files as raw data, graphs, charts and, expertise in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint), Share Point, Microsoft Teams and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Provides technical analysis in deciphering and correcting data incompatibility between programs, advises staff on current and correct office policies, procedures and establishes instructional binders. 40% Assist with program database updates and tracking, file management, and freedom of information act (FOIA) coordination. 30% Proofread/edit documents, complete supply purchase orders, act as a backup Office Manager, create and distribute mass informational/educational/promotional correspondence that represents the branch, division, region and agency 20% Prepare, process and review meeting minutes. Other routine meeting management (to include checklist accountability, database entry, gathering source documents, routing documents, ensuring appropriate signatures), electronic filing of documents to ensure accessibility by staff, maintaining select managers schedules and calendars (to include off-site activities). Distribute mail to projects managers. 5% General support duties for the branch and division. 5%
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 year(s) of experience OR AA Degree Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, Adobe, Copying Machine, Scanner
