Job Description
As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility. Incumbents are responsible for conducting field inspections for residential, and commercial rehabilitation requests, such as roof replacements, ADA-compliant bathrooms, and electrical work. Practical knowledge of plumbing, sewer systems, electrical systems, roofing, and ADA-compliant bathroom construction are preferred.
Incumbent will:
Prepare the scope of work and bid documents for the project. Distribute bids to contractors on the department's approved vendor list. Review the submitted bids and select a contractor. Schedule and monitor the work. Photograph the property before, during, and after construction. Submit contractor invoices for payment. Confirm that all required documentation is complete. Review project file for completion and transfer for closeout.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two years of related program experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Experience in or understanding of Project Scope of Work. Ability to draft summaries of project needs. Ability to calmly interact with homeowners, and contractors and can explain concepts plainly. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word. Valid driver's license.
Salary Range:
