Company Overview The Arc of St. Charles is a dedicated non-profit organization based in Boutte, Louisiana, committed to providing vital services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as the elderly community. Our mission is to foster inclusive, supportive environments that empower these populations to thrive. Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to lead community-focused initiatives and support our diverse client base. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through program development, community outreach, and collaborative efforts with local partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social work, community engagement, and empowering underserved populations while demonstrating strong leadership and organizational skills. Responsibilities
  • Monitor and supervise direct service professionals.
  • Review and check progress notes weekly to ensure goals are being met and to ensure all documentation is current and in compliance.
  • Supervises staffing and scheduling and ensures services are being deliveries as efficiently as possible.
  • Attends in-house meetings as well as community meetings and conducts monthly visits to the individuals.
  • Assist in ensuring that direct service professionals are trained adequately to work in the homes.
  • Provide services to an individual when no back up direct service professional is available.
  • Provide and gather current information concerning the individual's health, safety, future goals, and achievements.
  • Observes individuals, review data and progress, and revise programs based on individual needs and performance.
  • Ensure consistency amount external and internal programs and disciplines.
  • Ensuring documentation and services are in accordance with Health Standards and DHH regulations.
  • Write a provider's plan of care.
  • Filing documentation in the office binder and ensuring binders are current and incompliance.
  • Creating home binders for new intakes.
  • Managing medicine for SIL homes, attending doctor appointments, pick-ups, and drop-offs.
  • Complete Service Review Forms with direct service professionals during the correct period (meet & greet, initial, 90-day, pop-ups, etc.).
  • Conduct annual assessment on all individuals.
  • Perform other duties as deemed appropriate and as assigned by the Waiver Department Head.

Develop, implement, and oversee community programs tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities and underserved populations. Requirements Proven experience in supervising caseloads, supervising teams Must have experience working with waivers for individuals with disabilities Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently. Demonstrated success in program development, project management. Excellent written communication skills for report writing, grant proposals, and client correspondence. Technical proficiency with computer software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of counseling principles, public health issues, and working with culturally diverse communities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Administrative experience in nonprofit settings or client service environments is advantageous. Pay:
From $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
