Executive Director Job Summary:
Assist Director in day-to-day operations. Supervise Meals Drivers, Van Driver, Homemakers, Personal Care Attendants, Receptionist, Outreach Worker. Compile performance reports on computer as follows: Congregate and home-delivered meals, Senior Center activities. Prepare reports for Office of Elderly Affairs, Department of Health & Hospitals, Department of Transportation and Development monthly. Coordinate, inter and intra agency activities and efforts. Responsible for certified persons receiving appropriate services. Certify applicants for commodities. Make bank deposits. Assist people filing for Medicaid. Keep Director informed of any changes in day-to-day operation. Work with other service providing agencies in interest of the elderly. Other assigned duties.
Education:
High school graduate with (2) year college or equivalent working in people related field. Basic computer operator training.
Experience:
At least one (1) year of experience working with elderly or service providing agency. Knowledge or Skills Knowledge of procedures of a service providing agency. Computer Operator skills, oral and written communication skills, supervisory skills, and capable of preparing oral and written reports. Ability to relate to the elderly and their concerns. Be sensitive to physical and personality changes in clients. Preferably knowledge of WellSky software and Microsoft Office.
Salary Range:
$30,000 - $35,000
Pay:
$30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
